Hi all,
This is the Mommy of all the dogs. Since I was the one that "Pulled A Sarah"
I was elected to tell the story. So here it goes.Since I saw all the dogs that needed fostering and I we have plenty of back yard space (almost 1 acre) I wanted to help out a dog or two...So I contacted a local rescue...Wet Nose Rescue and asked if I could foster, and of course they were more then happy to oblige, and so the Sarah story begins. When I saw the picture of Sarah that was the one I wanted to foster. Her story is ...She was heavily pregnant with 9 puppies weighing 32 lbs, had an upper respiratory infection and oh by the way was thrown out of a moving vehicle with 2 other dogs in South Carolina. She had her puppies and when she was ready to come home to me she was stolen out of the shelter...Thank god she was returned. At the time my son was in Iraq with the Army and I sent him an e-mail about the dog I was going to foster, and he said to me "Can I adopt her...and so the story goes on. I contacted Kim (even before I got Sarah and told her about how my son wanted to adopt her and she was crying on the phone about how wonderful I was for doing this for my son. So on October 19,2008 Sarah officially became my 1st "failed foster". Well my husband thought Sarah was just a foster, (I never told him that I adopted her even before we fostered her), and as the weeks passed by he wondered why she has not been adopted yet, then I told him I already adopted her even before I fostered her...And so it became "Pulling A Sarah" as the other foster family call it. All I have to say is Sarah is Daddy's little girl and can do no wrong.....boy I wish I was a dog some days :-) Sarah is now a happy, healthy 60 lb dog and love every one...2 leg or 4, but she still is not to sure of those big things we call horses, but we are working on this.
