Today I spent some time helping Lydia gain control of her need to over power the cats . This was done buy having her sit and watch the cat for short period of time with out her being able to approach the cat.When her excitement level came down i would than allow her to approach the cat ,but if she got excited she was made to return back to a sitting position and calm her self before she could move to the cat again.This does tend to take time but it will be well worth it as is some does adopt her and they have cats Lydia will have a good foundation under her. These are small steps toward her finding a new home!!!
